In terms of the support you are looking for from Let's Get Digital, which of these statements do you feel is the best fit for you and your organisation? There is no right or wrong here, nor is your answer fixed in stone. We just want to understand how things are currently and what support might be most helpful. If your application is accepted, we will explore this with you again in your onboarding session.

Engaging your organisation: I am aware of the need for digital inclusion within my organisation and with the people we support/interact with. However, I wouldn’t say that position is held throughout our organisation. We would like support to engage staff/volunteers to have more knowledge and confidence around digital inclusion and how we can support each other internally and also externally, with those we work with.

Emerging ideas: Myself, and most people in my organisation, are aware of the need to be more digitally inclusive. We understand the needs (skills, confidence, devices and connectivity) of our organisation, our staff/volunteers and those we support. But we aren’t quite sure how to deliver the support people need. We would like help to create a plan of what digital skills support we can offer, who could offer the support and how we might deliver that.

Establishing support: We understand about Digital Champions and we have a plan to offer (or are already delivering) specific digital support (this might be via formal signposting, drop ins, 1-1 support or part of the support already delivered). We would like to upskill our current staff/volunteers to give them the knowledge and confidence around supporting others. We would value input around recruiting, engaging and supporting our Digital Champions and how to maximise the support we can offer.

Embedding Digital Inclusion into all that we do: We are keen to consider how we can grow/extend our current Digital Champion support and embed Digital Inclusion into all that we do (including service design, policy etc). We are keen to access additional training and support for our Champions to encourage and celebrate them. We are keen for input around evaluating and proving the impact of our work, so that we can maintain our work in the long term.
