How does it help?
Two tailored webinars on mapping local needs and building partnerships are backed up with a host of written resources, including practical guides and editable templates. Organisations get a clear understanding and structured framework for recruiting and supporting small community partners. We also offer four additional webinars, targeted at the community organisations themselves to help them recruit and retain Champions and get the most from being part of the network. The webinars are CPD accredited.
Why does it help?
This is a proven way to scale capacity without increasing delivery burden and to extend reach into under-served communities. But to be effective, these programmes need to be well targeted and well structure; to be beneficial to everyone in the partnership and to allow partners to play to their strengths while maintaining quality assurance and data-based reporting.
These webinars were co-created with the West London Alliance - a group of seven local authorities. They are tailored to the specific challenges authorities face and tried and tested by all the members of the alliance.
