Similarly to audiobooks, radio stations can be listened to via specialist apps or websites - such as TuneIn (https://tunein.com/radio/home/) and Radioplayer (https://radioplayer.co.uk/node/2) which give you free access to hundreds of radio stations from both the UK and abroad.
If you have a particular favourite radio station then commercial stations usually have their own individual websites and apps where you can listen to a particular station. BBC Sounds (www.bbc.co.uk/sounds) is the app for all the BBC radio stations and podcasts.
Listening is simple:
- Choose a streaming service: (e.g., BBC Sounds, TuneIn).
- Visit the website or download the app. You may need to create an account with an email address and password.
- Search for a station: Use the search bar to find a station of interest.
- Click 'Play': Tap the play button to start streaming live radio.
