One Spring Online event holder, David Armstrong, wrote to us to tell us how delighted he was about his Spring Online event at Putney Methodist Church, where members of the Church got together with the local Ahmadiyya Muslim Community.

He says: “Digital Unite is really uniting ages and cultures with this campaign. Our cross-faith event exceeded my personal objectives of bringing together our Christian and Muslim communities in a relevant community project, and will be the first step towards a wider range of activities now.”

David describes how young Muslim lads tutored older ladies from the Church, while his 11 year old son Cameron spent an hour and a half helping one lady find tickets to Mecca!

“Our minister’s wife said it was the most fun she’d had in years – and even more importantly, the event fulfilled a real society need. Several people simply walked in off the street during the day with or without their own equipment, seeking advice.”

“It was a brilliant event, which we’ll certainly be repeating.”
