It’s a challenge many organisations face. And we're working on a project to fix it.

We’re currently working with our friends at the West London Alliance to explore how we can help local authorities grow their Digital Champion Networks, with no extra time or budget required.

What began as a plan for a single course has evolved, through our discovery work, into a series of 6 focused webinars, each supported by a toolkit of practical resources. The series is called 'Connecting Communities: Growing Local Digital Champions Networks.' Yesterday we delivered the first session on building partnerships with local organisations. It was inspiring to hear so many examples of councils working with trusted partners to reach more people who need help to build their digital skills and confidence.

Our next webinar is in a couple of weeks, and in the new year we’ll be running four practical sessions directly with local partners, supporting them to recruit, manage and train their own Digital Champions.

Previous work with the WLA

We worked together on a course to help others find affordable internet. This also evolved through the discovery process - as what seemed simple at the outset turned out to get more complex the more we looked into it.

What do we do?

What is Digital Inclusion

Why does it matter? And what can be done about it? We've pulled together some great resources.
